For over 30 years, I have assisted loving but frustrated dog owners to humanely train their dog with positive reinforcement methods to learn self control and good manners.
It’s been my lifelong passion to relate with and understand why animals behave as they do.
Besides being a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, I have completed numerous advanced canine training seminars and courses, including Cornell University’s in-person professional certification program: “Solving Canine Behavior Problems”.
It becomes easy to live in happy companionship with your dog that has been trained with trust and consistency to respect and listen to you.
Besides pay per single sessions, I offer discounts on prepaid packages of 3 sessions.
I utilized positive & humane training methods combined with proven programs for:

The phrase "a teacher is born not made" is how best to describe Linda. Teachers need to know their subject matter well; Linda understands the foibles of different breeds and also their strengths. It’s the little things that weren't actually on the lesson sheets that stand out in my mind now, like how to care for a pet as precious as my puppy Nala. Linda has a natural way with dogs, and their humans. Nala was an easy pup to train, and quickly learned everything taught. I wanted to train her to form a bond and to set up expectations. The training was comfortable, not rushed, and she took the time to answer any and all questions I had. Linda demonstrated extreme patience with the my pup, and mostly, the learning human.

Linda is a true professional. She is knowledgeable and quick to assess your dog’s needs and address them. She is very giving and you see that she loves what she does. Linda is very organized and will leave you with ample written resources so that you can work with you pets.
This was our first meeting and I feel that we accomplished a great deal. I understand things that I have been doing wrong and hopefully I can correct. I would recommend Linda to anyone who wants to have their pets trained . It doesn’t matter what level of training or what problem they may have.

I can’t say how much I am thankful to Linda! She saved our lives😂
I have a Siberian Husky Puppy named Woofy. She is a handful and We felt so stressed cause of all the nipping, jumping, food aggression etc. I also have cats in the house and she would chase and bring chaos in Their lives. Linda came in and she showed us how to take control of this Alpha female. What a total difference. If it wasn’t for her and her wonderful technique’s about this specific breed, I would of had major problems in the future. Woofy is now a fun loving puppy that NOW obeys. She is actually getting along with the cats. She even allowed one of them to drink from her bowl. I was amazed!!! Definitely recommend her. She brought us lots of written information and knowledge about my stubborn pup. If you have a difficult dog and see no light at the end of the tunnel, call Linda. She is the expert and has valuable information that will make you and your pups lives 100% better

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always start with a free phone evaluation.
A discussion with a potential new client about their own & their pet's needs enables me to more accurately provide a fee quote.
More importantly, this discussion also gives both of us a feel about how confidently we can work together.
When the new client is ready, we simple schedule a mutually agreed appointment date & time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a pet service & dog training professional with 30 years of experience of teaching dog owners how to train to live happily with their dogs.
For over 20 years, I actively volunteered my expertise to the Miami Obedience Club as one of their group dog class instructors.
Although I have not taught classes for MOC for the past few years, they still send me many referrals for dogs that need private training.
I am a professional member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers & of Pet Sitters International.
I received my Certification as a Professional Dog Trainer from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, the only independent certifying organization for the dog training profession.
I completed Cornell University's Certification Program: Solving Canine Behavior Problems.
I completed several certification courses at Jack & Wendy Volhard's Dog Training Instructor School & Training Camp.
Over the decades, I have taken numerous continuing eduction programs, workshops & seminars for:
- dog obedience, tracking, confirmation & agility training
- how to instruct & structure dog training classes
- to specialize in dog behavior modification & solving dog behavior issues.
I only use humane training methods & I am highly trained & skilled at using positive reinforcement training.
