- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in 2012 as a winder technician for a well known company call Brush GMS in Pittsburgh, PA, then 2 years later I started to work for TAW (Tampa Armature Works) in Miami, FL. There, I learned and acquired a large knowledge not only in generators, but also in turbines, exciters, voltage regulators, automatic transfer switches, transformers, dc and ac motors, re-wind stators and rotors and perform a variety of tests including electrical testing as ELCID, Megger, Hi-Potential, Wedge-tightness, pole balance and DLRO tests.
