What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is no “standard" however if long-distance travel is not involved, then my fee starts at $75 per hour.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a phone conversation/interview where you tell me who you wish to mediate with and what your interests and goals are. If we agree to go forward, please provide me with the other person(s) who will appear at the mediation session and I will contact them to see if they wish to participate. Mediation is voluntary.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have MBA and Ph.D degrees from Stanford University. I have been trained in many forms of mediation and have 25 years of experience as a mediator/arbitrator in many venues. I also serve as a trainer and facilitator and teach mediation skills at New York University as an adjunct professor.
