Hey there! I’m Amaya : )
For years, I’ve focused my photography on portraits.. I love capturing the many facets of who you are!
For each session, we’ll begin by sitting down and getting a feel for your personality and tastes. “Who are you?” “What do you hope your photos capture about you?”

Amaya is so personable and lovely to work with. She never made me feel rushed and listened to my requests while offering her creative insight.
She got the most flattering angles and drew out different expressions and poses from me. I didn't really know what to do at times, but she provided direction which made me feel so much more comfortable. She scouted a background that represented the exact vibe I wanted and used various elements and angles to offer different portrait options.
When I first saw my photos, I thought "dang I look good" haha. I had never seen myself making some of the expressions I saw captured (in a great way)! I loved the different angles, different backgrounds and use of light.
If you're looking for a portrait photographer, I have no hesitation that Amaya will capture exactly what you're looking for and more.

I loved working with Amaya! She was incredibly thoughtful about everything, from where we met, to what I should wear, to getting to know me as a person before shooting in order to reveal more than just my outward appearance. You can tell that Amaya truly loves people, and capturing them on camera through portraits is just a bonus:) That said, my portraits came out A-MAZ-ING!! I feel like she captured the real ME, which was so special.
I would absolutely recommend her to anyone that wants an EXPERIENCE, because she provides so much more than a photo shoot!

Working with Amaya didn’t feel like a typical photoshoot but instead like collaborating with a good friend where we mutually captured moments. I adored the abundance of laughter and smiles that filled our time together. This unique approach made me feel at ease, eliminating any awkwardness and created a truly humbling experience.
When I first saw the photos I was like ‘is that me??!’ Then I was captivated by their candidness. They portrayed my authentic self rather than staged poses. Each shot exuded authenticity, allowing the true essence of the moment to shine through in the images.

While I am not one to like taking photographs, Amaya made it comfortable and fun. She eased my tension and got me to play around and loosen up, getting me pictures I genuinely felt good in. Usually, I only like a few photos of myself, but I found I came away with more photos I liked than I knew what to do with! Amaya is great at highlighting the best parts of yourself and capturing “essence” while checking the boxes. She is patient, detail-oriented, and incredibly easy to get along with. Maybe I don’t dislike photoshoots after all… :)
