I’m Jaci Peña, a hospitality photographer and creative director with more than 10 years of experience. Through The J Projects, I’ve shot boutique hotels, restaurants, bars and lifestyle brands in Miami and Nashville.
I photograph spaces and experiences the way guests feel them: moody, ambient interiors that sell the atmosphere, and bright, high-energy food, cocktail and nightlife content built for social media. One shoot can cover your rooms, lobby, bar, menu and the in-between moments that make people want to book a room or a table.
Because I work as both photographer and creative director, I plan the shot list and art direct on set. You get a cohesive library of images for your website, booking platforms, menus and social media.

Jaci has photographed several events for us over the past few years. She captures the guests, entertainment, decorative details, food, lighting...everything. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on the scope, the number of final images and how you’ll use them. Half-day shoots start at $1,200 and full days typically run $1,800–$3,800.
Commercial usage and licensing are quoted separately, so you only pay for the rights you need. Ask about multi-location or recurring content packages.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a short call about your brand, your goals and where the images will live. I then put together a shot list and a mood board, and we schedule around your best light and quietest hours. I art direct on set, and you receive edited, ready-to-use images, usually within about two weeks.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
More than 15 years of photography experience, starting in fine art photography in 2010. I managed a professional photo studio in Wynwood for two years and have worked as a photographer and creative director in hospitality, interiors and architecture since 2014. [Add any degree or courses here.]
