FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Although fees are completely based on the volume and complexity of a client's books most clients fall between $300-800/month. We will discuss the situation and assess what is most appropriate. Cheaper is not necessarily better. An enrolled agent specializes in taxation and will be able to provide far more value than other bookkeepers with no certification.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is simple and designed to make bookkeeping stress-free for you: 1. Initial Conversation I start by learning about your practice, how you get paid (insurance vs private pay), and your current bookkeeping setup. 2. QuickBooks Review (if needed) If your books are behind or unclear, I begin with a QuickBooks review to identify any issues and create a clear plan. 3. Setup or Cleanup I organize your QuickBooks account, categorize transactions, and reconcile everything so your books are accurate and up to date. 4. Ongoing Monthly Bookkeeping I handle your bookkeeping each month, so you don’t have to worry about it—keeping everything clean, organized, and tax-ready. 5. Reports & Insights You’ll receive clear monthly reports along with insights so you can understand how your practice is performing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m an IRS Enrolled Agent (EA), which means I’m federally authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS and have extensive training in tax law, financial reporting, and compliance. In addition to my credential, I have hands-on experience working with individuals and small businesses. My work focuses on keeping books accurate, organized, and tax-ready year-round—not just during tax season. I also work extensively with QuickBooks and stay up to date on best practices for bookkeeping, financial reporting, and small business tax strategy. Because of my background in both bookkeeping and tax, I’m able to go beyond just data entry and help clients understand their numbers and stay prepared for tax time.
