- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Although fees are completely based on the complexity of a client's tax return, most returns range $350 - $500. We will discuss the situation and assess what is most appropriate. Cheaper is not necessarily better. An enrolled agent is specializing in taxation and will be able to provide far more value than other tax preparers with no certification.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We use secure client portals to exchange financial documents needed to prepare the tax return accurately, giving you access to excellent service and advice. The client also, will sign an engagement letter so parties feel at ease and protected. When the job is done, I'll explain everything and answer all client questions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Along with being an IRS Enrolled Agent and having a bachelor's degree in business, I have worked with Intuit TurboTax and private tax firms representing high net worth clients as well as the everyday worker.
