- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My listing commission ranges from 4% to 8% depending on the value of the property, how many transactions I've had with the customer, how much time is required to resolve title issues and other obstacles to a sale, how much staging or repairs are required to make the property marketable, how many Realtors are involved in the transaction, etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In the case of a Seller, I study recent market activity to determine a price range and I also find out the Seller's situation, motivation and goals in order to determine the best way to show and market the property. In the case of a Buyer, I try to understand their needs, timeframe, budget and the features they are looking for in a home and community and show the only those properties that would realistically work for them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a Realtor for 15 years and a Florida Broker for 11 years. I have worked with dozens of clients in price ranges from $50,000 to $5 Million, whether it be their primary residences, second homes or investment properties. I have hired, managed and trained 20+ agents. I have a degree in International Business and French from Auburn University. Before my real estate career, I was in Corporate Sales with BellSouth and CSX and have been well-trained in consultative selling and negotiations.
