Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I do this full time. It's my job but also my passion and I love teaching people how to instill the confident leadership their dogs are begging for. I do speak my mind and my clients will agree that I tell it like it is. I'm blessed to have an amazing amount of clients and majority of them have come from word of mouth and gave continued that reputation. I chose to not advertise. I often finish or fix the job another, less experienced trainer had created. Sometimes my services are dog's last chance before death row. The love for dogs is only half of it. Love for people is the rest. I've never gotten tired of repeating myself and I love when that moment comes where the client and dog just "get it". I love teaching people how to be better dog handlers. They're already great dog owners!

It doesn't get any better than Gaby! I took my 18 month English Mastiff to her for Boot Camp because her personality didn't fit her body. She was about 140 pounds but scared of her own shadow. If a sprinkler would kick on, she would run away. If someone tried to pet her, the tail would tuck between her legs and head would go down or she would just run away. She used to let our little dog (15 pounds) eat her dog food (ok - sometimes she still does!) She was petrified of visitors and would run to another room with no chance of getting her to come back and meet them. Now I can say with confidence, our lives have been changed, all thanks to Gaby! Today, I had an appointment in my house with someone my dog had never seen before. My dog, let the stranger come in, sit down, and conduct business. This was a FIRST for us. She didn't bark, run away or scare the visitor. She was so calm, that during our meeting, my dog laid down beside my feet and even crossed her paws. That action definitely was a result of Gaby's training. I am50 years old and have had several dogs -my current dog is my third Mastiff - I'm not stupid, I am well read and well trained but in all my years, there has never been anyone like Gaby. She will change your family dynamics, if you let her! I take my baby back to Gaby for boarding and I have to tell you that Puppy might be a bit reluctant to leave my car, once she is out of the car and running with Gaby's dogs, she loves it! I have never had that positive response from any of our pets with any boarding. When I pick Puppy up, she has NEVER had any adjustment issues. It doesn't get any better than Gaby!

We adopted a German Shepherd from a friend without knowing what background he had. Knowing that German Shepherds can be a handful and have a bad reputation for being "vicious" my wife and I sought out a trainer that could help us make him a well rounded pup. Another friend spoke highly of Gaby and immediately after meeting her, there was no question she was the right trainer for us. A few weeks later, Kaine started Level 1 at her property. Little did we know, she trained us more than Kaine...haha. There were immediate results and the training has made Kaine an obedient, confident, and happy young adult. He is now just over a year old and we get compliments all the time how well he responds to us and minds his manner out in public. After training, we still visit Gaby, Kaya, and Kaiser and she has always been just a text or call away with any questions and help us resolve any behavorial issues. Thank you Gaby for being amazing at what you do and sharing your passion with others.

Gaby is excellent! I rest very well knowing that my dog is being well taken care of in Gaby's care.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

When clients contact me regarding their dog's problems, they have usually tried a few other trainer first, the local pet store and sometimes the expensive and far away to travel to behaviorist. I work with all types of behavioral problems, from biting to anxiety. I don't discriminate against any breed but I do demand a highly motivated owner/handler. No matter what your dog's problems are, be it jumping on guests and being impossible to walk or simply a brand new puppy that you'd like to start off right, I'm confident in my experience that you'll be trained correctly without excuses and your dog will become what you want him/her to be as long as you're willing to put the work into it.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

You get what you pay for and in this business there a lot of so called professionals. There's no substitute for experience, I've been working dogs and training their handlers since 1999. Be sure to ask your vet as well as those dog owners whose dogs behave exactly like you imagine yours would. Chances are they hired a real professional to help them do the job right.
