FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is intended to be affordable for families of all sizes. Standard lessons at 45 minutes begin at $35, and group lessons are offered at a discount of $60 for two students max. Longer or shorter lessons times are also available. For solo entertainment for special events such as galas and parties I charge a flat $150/hour fee. This includes set up, preparation of music prior to the event, and small breaks between performance sets.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New students are free to ask as many questions as possible and make requests to customize the piano lesson to their liking. If a student wants to learn a certain style or would like additional materials to help with their learning, that can be provided. In regards to solo entertainment, customers are able to make specific song requests and help build a portion of the performance set.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Masters degree in piano performance from the University of Georgia where I was a music instructor for their CMS program. I also have my Bachelors degree in piano performance from Florida State University where I also studied piano pedagogy. I have over 15 years of piano teaching experience and have an active performing career covering the United States and Europe. Highlights include performances in Carnegie Hall and various concert series. I was the music director for the Boys & Girls club of Collier County where I maintained a roster of 60 piano students every year.
