Training location
Introduction
I started training training many years ago when I was still in the Marine Corps. I was able to learn how to push myself and others to over come physical and mental challenges. I have confidence that I will be able to do the same for each client that signs up to train with me. I have trained a wide range of clientele including: women pre and post natal, athletes, seniors, people with a wide variety of injuries, post physical therapy, military before entry and military members who want to improve their PT test scores, and people who just want to lose body fat and build lean muscle mass. I currently enjoy CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting. Fitness involves having a healthy mind as well as a healthy body and I strive to help each and every client become their best. I currently only accept clients for remote training.

Rachel is the best personal trainer I have ever worked with. She motivates you without being pushy and has a way of making workouts fun so that the time flies. She individualizes sessions so that they fit your specific needs and target areas. I lost 20 pounds and have been able to keep it off for over three years now. If you really want to make a change in lifestyle and get in shape, you won’t regret working with Rachel.

Loved working out with Rachel! I can’t say enough good things. She pushed and wouldn’t let you make excuses. And even though I was always dying by the end, it was always a good time and I left smiling because I knew the pain was progress. I had great results. She was tough without yelling and I appreciated that so much. I also learned a lot about working out and how to do that safely. I would have taken her with me when I moved if I could have. And I think the fact that I still hear her telling me to keep going when I work out now means she was the best trainer. Thanks, Rachel!!

Working with Rachel was great. She trained me for two years 3 times a week. She was able to motivate me to work out when REALLY I didn’t want to.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I do not charge per session. I provide a workout plan for each week (updated weekly) and a diet plan (updated bi-weekly). I send you videos so you can learn the proper form for each exercise. I provide accountability for your workouts and give you feedback to help you avoid any pain or injury while learning each new exercise. I charge $100/month for 5 days a week and $80/month for 3 days a week.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started designing fitness plans when I joined the Marine Corps in 2008. I wanted to learn more and how to do things type proper way because people around me were often getting injuries from working out so I got a personal trainer certification through ISSA. Some of my continuing dedication includes fitness nutrition, youth fitness, pre and postnatal fitness, TRX and corrective exercise training.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

My youngest client was 10 and my oldest was 85. I’ve trained pregnant women and women who have small babies, I’ve trained semi-pro athletes, dentists, a man with a pacemaker, someone missing toes and someone who broke his back in a train accident. I trained lots of Marines and Airmen. I would say my specialty is helping someone go from never working out to being able to confidently lift free weights and do push ups and pull ups. Being strong helps boost your confidence in every area in life!
