Introduction: I am Mechanical Engineer and Master in Business Administration with more than 15 years tutoring Math (Arithmetic, Pre-Algebra, Algebra1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry and SAT math section preparation), Chemistry and Spanish. I am very patient and my focus is to ensure for my students to completely undestand the subject and know how to solve the exercises and of course to improve their grades. I love tutoring and I will be more than happy to go to my student's house or meet where my student feels more comfortable. I charge $40 per hour.

Oscar has been tutoring my daughter once a week for about 5 months. She has had a few tutors in the past that were great so the bar was high. Fortunately for us Oscar is definitely 5 stars. He has always arrived on time and is flexible with his schedule. My daughter is in Algebra II honors and she has gone from a low D to a mid B. It would probably be higher if she spent a little more time on homework. She has ADHD and he keeps her on task. The only con is that he only gives me reports when I ask instead of offering a weekly update but it is not a problem because he brings me up to date when asked. Oscar is also very reasonably priced especially since he drives to my house rather than me having to drive her there. When we first spoke on the phone I was a little unsure but after meeting him I was sold. Hopefully he will keep tutoring her in the years to come. He is definitely as asset you will come to appreciate as much as I do.
