From first contact they have been an absolute pleasure to work with creating a dream room that my wife absolutely loves and can wait to have completed. Everything about them from first contact, to listening to what we wanted, to the drawings, and quote, everything has been a pleasure and i highly recommend using them.
Details: Single room remodel • Deck or porch • Addition • No existing plans, but have a good idea of what I want • No, the project is not covered by an insurance claim • Within the month • Renter, with owner's permission to do this job

They built a $750,000 home for me and I could not be happier. Even though we had a couple of hiccups through some of the phases they fixed everything and we never had a problem.

We recently had our kitchen remodeled, and we couldn't be happier with the results. From the initial consultation to the final walkthrough, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to every detail. They listened to our ideas, offered helpful suggestions, and delivered exactly what they promised. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding, and the project was completed on time with clear communication throughout the entire process. Our new kitchen is beautiful. We highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled, and professional remodeling team.

We had CGC remove our built-in tub, relocate the drain, move the showerhead to the opposite end, and retile the three surrounding walls. Alex also wallpapered our dining room. Sounds like easy jobs, but no. The tub was iron, not fiberglass. The floor had to be jackhammered to get to the drain pipe, then relocated. The DR walls had to be replastered smooth so the orange peel-like "bubbles" wouldn't show through the wallpaper. Our home is 30+ miles away from CGCs Ocala base, and often we thought ours was a 'when we get down there and have no emergency jobs to do closer to Ocala' job. This is why they lost a star. A job we thought should take no more than 3 weeks took 9. Frustrating yes, but both the shower and DR came out beautifully.
CGC Builders LLC's reply
Thank you for your thoughtful review and for the four-star rating. We sincerely apologize for the extended timeline and the frustration it caused. This project required speciality work. Removing the iron tub, jackhammering the floors, relocating the drain, replaster walls to have an extremely smooth texture, and carefully finish work, and only one our technicians are the specific skill set needed to deliver the quality you deserved. Please know it was never our intention to make you feel deprioritized. We appreciate your patience and are glad the shower and dining room met your expectations. Thank you again for choosing CGC.
