FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Clients do not pay for my service. My commissions are provided by the travel suppliers. I have access to every major cruise line's booking system and will find and quote the least expensive rate available for the cabin. Once a deposit is paid to secure the booking, I will track the reservation and if a cheaper rate becomes available, will automatically secure the lower rate. Often, I am able to provide additional amenities and discounts not offered by the cruise lines.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My job is to find the perfect cruise or land vacation for my clients. I will ask questions to determine what they are interested in, their expectations for the trip and a budget they want to stay within. Once I have that information, I will research cruises, tours or resorts that match their desires and present options for the client to choose. If nothing appeals to them, It's back to the drawing board for me. My goal is to provide them with the perfect vacation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a Cruise Planner franchise owner, I have completed the initial training requirements for becoming a travel agent. In addition, several hours of continuation training each month to remain up to date on the latest industry trends, supplier offers and technology advancements to keep up with the always evolving travel world.
