- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We usually provide a quote based on the type of work to be performed. Tax returns vary in price based on the number of forms required to be filed. The pricing for accounting jobs depends on such factors as the number of hours required to reconcile and adjust the clients' books.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We setup an initial meeting in person or over the phone. During the meeting we discuss the areas the client wants to address (tax and/or accounting assistance). We provide an estimated quote during the meeting or via email. And once we have agreed on the engagement, we request a 50% deposit on our quote, and provide the client with a list of records to provide to us in order to fulfill the engagement. We have a portal on our website which clients may use to upload their records. We communicate with clients ( for any questions) via phone and email. And once the work is completed, we meet with the client or discuss the results over the phone. We also provide documents to clients in paper or electronic format, as applicable. We accept credit card payments for the initial deposit and invoice balances.

Accounting Degree from the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse; Over 20 years of experience in tax preparation.
