Hired to diagnose and repair outlets without power. Were able to come next day and arrived on time. Techs did not have masks when they came to the door and seemed inconvenienced when asked to wear masks. Did not have/use shoe covers when entering house. Unable to diagnose actual issue, but found a workaround solution. Quality of actual work performed is good. Billing not so straightforward - trip fee does not roll into work performed, separate diagnostic fee (again, no real diagnosis provided) also does not roll into work performed. Also tried to charge 5% for credit card transaction, which was not disclosed at booking and seems excessive to cover processing fees. Would shop around before hiring again.

I have used this company many times for electrical repairs and for the most part have been pleased with the service and the technicians. About a year ago or so, one of their technicians talked me into paying to get their home surge protection. I was open to this idea and went ahead. Last hurricane we had a power surge that damaged alot of our household items and Duke would do nothing about it. I was promised I would not have this issue. Now when this last hurricane came through the power surges prior to the storm also did the same. This year we were luck to only lose our coffee maker. I called the company and am still waiting for a call back that was supposed to happen October 18th. I guess it is going to be the same as Duke. Pay and get nothing.

Ellen, we did speak with you about your coffee maker. You told our office you purchased a new one and wanted Alumination to reimburse you for the product. We explained to you all you have to do is call manufacture and file a claim to get reimbursed for the product. If you have any more questions to help you along we would be happy to assist you .
