Julia did an absolutely amazing job! She blew my expectations right out of the water! She is super friendly and very talented. I needed her for three different looks for a comic convention. While a daunting task, she handled it with absolute grace! My first look required cloud tattoos and some bullets. My second look I needed blue face paint and some contour. My last look required orange face paint and some very detailed line work. When it comes to body art or temporary tattoos Julia should be your top pick! You will not regret it!

I highly recommend Julia of Be Funky Face Art. I used Julia to face paint for a party of a dozen children ages 2-10. Julia arrived promptly, allowing herself enough time to set up. She brought a beautiful selection of face painting colors, all the necessary equipment and a makeup chair for the children to sit in. Juila is a very kind person and made the children feel comfortable. Her designs were amazing! Everyone was wowed by the quality of her work. I’m confident Julia could expertly apply any face painting design. I will definitely hire Julia for our next party. I was more than pleased with her work and the children were so excited with their animal faces. Julia is super talented and her rates are very reasonable! I’m so pleased I found her on Thumbtack.

Hired Yulia (somewhat last minute) for my daughters 4th birthday party in the park & having her was a great experience! Showed up right on time and left with smiles on all the kids faces! Also, my daughter was giving us all a hard time on getting her face painted and Julia handled her so calmly just like a mother would. Great experience! 10/10 🩷

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am always polite and respectful. Positive energy only!:) And of course I would like to get more detailed about the event or party that I’m going to do so I can prepare special designs and other items!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Previously I practiced watercolors for 3 years, and I wanted to try something different so I found out about face paints and once I tried it I couldn’t stop. I’m taking courses and master classes from best body artists in the world for a year now and never want to stop learning)
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started practicing right after I tried face paints for the first time. I loved it and I found my new passion!
