FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge a monthly periodic retainer fee and an hourly rate for actual time dedicated to your case. When you hire us, you will pay an affordable fee advance to get started, followed by progress billing as your case moves forward. We are committed to making our services affordable, and we therefore offer payment plans and other credit options when you meet certain conditions (income threshold and/or credit-worthy co-signer/guarantor). If you are actively serving in the United States Armed Forces (active duty or reserve, excluding IRR or ING), we offer a 15 percent discount off the retainer and hourly rate that applies to your case.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new client contacts our office, he or she will speak with a member of our staff to discuss their situation and the reason they are considering hiring an attorney. If the situation meets our criteria, a consultation with one of our attorneys will then be offered. In some situations, the consultation will be offered free of charge. At the end of the consultation, the you will be offered terms to retain our firm, and will work with a member of our staff to complete the engagement process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Both Adam Sudbury and Melissa Alfonso are members in good standing of The Florida Bar and licensed to practice law anywhere in the State of Florida.
