- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate is $40 for 45 minutes. If a prepaid lesson plan is purchased that will bring the total cost per lesson to $35 for 45 minutes. I also offer a guitar repair service, for $15 a month you will get your strings changed, your guitar deep cleaned, adjusted and intonated 6 times a year. The strings I use are Elixir Polywebs and D'addario NYXL I also use Howard's wood products and guarantee 100% of my work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Just establishing what you know and from there figuring out where in the first lesson I need to begin. Also fixing up your guitar and giving advice on other things you may want to look into purchasing (strings, case, straps, etc.).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Constantly jamming with other musicians. I also work with electronic artists and provide samples from my remote studio. While also teaching, I end up playing at least 15 to 20 hours a week.
