Finding the right hair dresser is just as important as finding the right doctor... Your hair says a lot about you and Melissa is truly my hair guardian angel! When I moved to Orlando for college I had seen the same hairdresser my entire life and couldn't imagine finding someone who met all my expectations! Melissa exceeded them. Not only does she make the time spent with her incredibly enjoyable, but she takes the time to get to know you, what you want, and makes your hair her own piece of art. Melissa took my hair from fried and drab from a previous spontaneous hair visit and made it look natural and healthy again with some flare! She always makes me feel like I am her only client and is available whenever I need her! I am also using her for my wedding day as my make up artist as she made my wedding make up dreams come true in a last minute trial!!! I am so glad I found her and highly recommend her!

How do I even put into words how fabulous Melissa is?! The first time I went to Melissa, she turned my Plain Jane boring brown hair into a gorgeous purple/pink with a new stylish cut to boot. It literally changed my life (or at least the way I felt when I looked in the mirror 😀). A few days later she even gave me a complimentary touch up to address the initial fading of my color. Like, who does that??! A month or so later I went back to Melissa to try something new. We decided on a teal/blue/green combo, which she executed flawlessly. Prior to finding her, I went through three other stylists, and wasted over a year, trying to find someone that could turn my creative hair dreams to life. I can't say enough how glad I am that I found her, she is The Best!! Side note: She is also a lot of fun and so laid back that the whole experience with her has been just perfect.

For the majority of my life I never put much importance on a hair cut and dreaded the experience all together. But after getting my hair regularly style by Melissa I know look forward to getting a shape up. She keeps me looking kempt and stylish and is an absolute joy to be around.

It was sheer luck that I was paired with Melissa Wheat and it turned out that she is a friggin hair guru. I have a mane that would intimidate even the most seasoned hair professional, yet Melissa didn't yield a second to my untamed locks. She dove right in and coaxed my hair into something that was just short of a biblical miracle. For the first time in my life my hair felt sexy- and even more importantly LOOKED SEXY. The woman is a mastermind of haircare and I can't speak highly enough of her skills. She takes the time necessary to create a work of living art and it's quite spectacular if I do say so myself.

Absolutely. It is extremely important for professionals in our industry to stay on top of the trends and their techniques. I am continuously expanding my knowledge by attending workshops with bumble and bumble, keratin complex, and working with fellow makeup artists on production sets.
