Having worked with a couple concrete companies in our area, KDK has been by far the most professional, timely and an absolute pleasure to work with on our driveway. The first company we dealt with, we ended up with cracks everywhere. With KDK, almost a year later, not a crack in site. From beginning to end, he took care of us and did exactly as expected and went above and beyond to make sure our job was done correctly. As a small business owner in our area, customer service is our top priority! Don with KDK definitely made us feel like a top priority even though he had other big jobs going on at the same time for the County and City of Ormond Beach. We never felt neglected! Amen to honest, hardworking gentlemen like Don and his staff! Cannot say enough positive comments! Highly pleased and would recommend in a heartbeat!

Don bid a job for our brewery to cut and remove our old slab, and pour a new slab with slope and floor drains. His bid came in below most of his competition and he was more prompt than anybody else I was working with in contacting me back to answer any questions I had. We had other things happening simultaneously and he did a great job helping us coordinate the plumbing that had to go in before the new slab was poured. The materials KDK used were top notch as well - 10,000 PSI concrete with fiberglass added for extra strength. I would have no problem recommending Don or KDK for any type of work - if they can do the complex job we had and make it look as good as they did, they can do anything!

The first question on this web site is answered by saying check the business out on the Better Business Bureau. That is correct since he advertises to have a 'AAA' rating but in fact is not even accredited and has an 'F' rating. Also, check Angie's List, Yelp, and anyplace else you can find. Mine is not the only bad rating out there. He is by far the worst business person I have ever dealt with and would NEVER recommend him to anyone!

KDK Concrete as all businesses do- we do we shoot for 100% satisfaction- The industry standard is 90-95% but we do try for 100%. We do anywhere from 75-150 concrete residential projects per year not including our commercial work, so if we hit 99% satisfaction we still have 2 people per year unhappy no matter how hard we try! As with this client most of the delays were because of the home equity loan through Fannie May and there waiting after the down payment for weeks due to Fannies payment and then saying we need it done now- Even though we fought many a day in the rain and also during the Holidays- I will close only by saying we have been in business since 97 and since 2005 in Florida with a huge following of thankful clients-ratings and referrals and we are busy to this day in this terrible economy- KDK Concrete thanks its customers and all the faithful past and present relationships that we have developed through our Business! What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask for Certificates of Insurance to be sent directly to them with their name as certificate holders or call the county to verify they are a LEGAL Business operating with in the Law
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
That their are a lot of people acting like concrete contractors and that they need to call the county before they hire anyone to verify they are a legal business in Volusia county
