Susie charges a fee of $250.00 for a 2-hour, on-site consultation. The goal of the meeting is to exchange information, offer suggestions and create a plan for moving forward. After a walk-through of the space with the client, we sit down together and discuss in detail all the specific requirements for the project. The client details the problem areas to be addressed, their thoughts regarding solutions and identifies their vision for the space. We, in turn, offer information about how their goals can be reached, the costs involved and how it relates to their budget. We help clients prioritize their needs and determine the best use of their funds.
A consultation meeting provides the client the opportunity to get accurate and realistic information regarding cost and timeline. If the client has underestimated the cost of his/her project, she can help him/her find more cost-efficient ways to reach his/her goals.
Susie follows up the initial consultation meeting to determine if the client wants to proceed and DIY or enlist help from Susie's Solutions 101. At this point, we can discuss the scope of work and design fees associated with the project.
