- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting coffee is a must. First, because I love coffee. Second, it gives us a chance to meet each other in person and see if our personalities mesh well. From then I let the couple decide if we are the best fit (hope that we are!), and collect the deposit to secure the date and then have a follow up meeting a few weeks before the wedding to discuss timeline and final details.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to school for photojournalism in Florida and had an photo/video internship at my church for one year.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Weddings have always grabbed my attention. I remember even as a little girl getting so excited every time my family received a wedding invitation. Watching two people get to say "I do" to each other and devote the rest of their lives to each other is inspiring and amazing. Each couple I meet has different ways they have learned to love each other best, and I love learning from each couple.
