- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For virtual services I charge a flat rate per room and not consult fee where I create a mood board and link all necessary furniture and decorative items. Clients get 2 substitutions per room. In person services I charge my hourly rate with a consult fee that is $150 to come out to your location and see the project and give my initial thoughts and tips.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to make sure we are the right fit for each other by having a 5-10 minute phone consult where we can determine whether in-person, or virtual would be best for your project. We discuss your style, vision, budget, as well as my pricing. We then set a date and time for my to come out, or we begin our project virtually!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After remodeling 2 homes of my own, I realized this is no easy task. I learned so much and enjoyed the process and the creative aspect of changing a room and making it more inviting. I became passionate about home decorating and sharing fun tricks and tips through the creation of my blog and realized there’s actually a large market for a reasonable, affordable designer.
