- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will usually meet in person if they are local or on the phone if not. I have a couple of questionnaires that they fill out before we meet so that I can get a feel for their needs and expectations. When we meet we go over their answers in more detail and start planning their photo session or special event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend workshops and conferences every year along with online workshops and resources.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been interested in photography for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories, I was about 4 years old and trying to "develop" negatives in a bowl of water in the bathroom. I took photography classes in high school and college and really enjoyed it as a hobby for about 15 years. I was always hesitant to make it a business because I didn't want to lose the joy that photography brought me. I finally bit the bullet about 3 years ago and I'm so happy that I did.
