Abel was very respectful and responsive throughout the entire project. I’m managing my projects from out of town, so I really appreciated that he kept me updated on what was going on and what time he would be arriving. He responded very quickly whenever I reached out. His pricing was very fair, and he did a great job replacing my missing soffits. There was a slight change to the original job that I requested, and Abel was very accommodating. He came up with ideas and solutions to help remedy the issue and make sure the job was done right. I highly recommend Abel for his professionalism, communication, fair pricing, and quality of work!

We had roof damage and needed it fixed. Multiple roofers gave quotes. Most were wanting crazy prices and acted like I should be indebted to them just to have them consider giving me an estimate. One company gave me two different estimates (one was when they thought insurance was paying for it and then a different amount when they realized I was paying out of pocket. All of them were like "Don't ask us to go down any on our prices." I had quotes that were double and triple the going rate. Then, José came along. He originally wasn't the lowest bid. Unlike the others, he work with me on the pricing to make my roof affordable. After he got on site, I got called outside...which is never a good thing. Sure enough, there was an issue...huge issue. José could have held me to the contract and I would have been a thousand or so dollars in debt. Instead, we worked out a deal that was more than fair. At every step I was blown away by the quality and care José and his team expressed. I couldn't have asked for better treatment. And, I absolutely love the roof! Weeks later, other roof companies called me wondering why I hadn't signed their estimates. They were rude and had a tone of entitlement. They acted astonished that I went with someone that was lower and treated me right. I've told five or six people about José already. I cannot speak too highly of him. If you're in need of a new roof, call First Eagle!

We hired Jose with First Eagle Roofing, LLC well before Thanksgiving of 2025 to build a hip roof over our existing back patio with brick pillar supports. He assured us it would be done by Thanksgiving and that the new shingles would match our existing roof. Unfortunately, the process was filled with major setbacks. The first set of shingles he installed was completely out of whack. While he agreed to redo them, the second set still does not match our original roof. We strongly suspect that eating the cost of that mistake caused his budget to collapse. Shortly after, Jose informed us he had under-quoted the job, ran out of funds, and never showed back up leaving the project unfinished. We later discovered he never pulled the required permits or prepared plans, despite charging us $7,000 for them, in accordance with his estimate. On a positive note, the brick pillars themselves are wonderful and the masonry crew did an amazing job. We later hired other contractors to finish out the build, which required having the work that Jose did inspected and pulling the proper permits. Due to the resulting delays from weather, holidays and vacations, the project was only just completed in early spring of 2026. After completion, my husband spoke with Jose, who promised to come out and replace the mismatched shingles at no cost to us. To date, July 5, he hasn’t showed up. We cannot recommend his services due to these severe budget, timeline, and communication issues. I’ve attached pictures of the final shingles so you can judge for yourself.
