I had a great experience! Corey was the 3rd person to contact me on thumbtack with a "personal" message. I went with him because he replied quick to my questions and followed up with me to see how I was doing.. Nothing salesy or forced, it felt genuine. Once I explained to Corey my goals and what I was looking for in a trainer, Corey was able to connect me with a personal trainer by the name of Troy (who works for/with him). I am on my 3rd session w/Troy and he's everything I've been looking for in a trainer. He's professional, understanding, flexible, straight to the point, stern with a sense of humor.. Oh yeah, and easy on the eyes. Troy has over 8 years of experience and is a boxer so from time to time, he'll incorporate boxing in my workout and I'm excited about that. The $35 fee noted is for a 30 min session but I recommend going with an hour session so you can get a full body workout with a personal trainer that can tell you what you're doing right vs. what you're doing wrong. I booked for 12 sessions which will cover me for a month @ 3 sessions/week. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a personal trainer whether it be short term or long term. Bottom line, you'll definitely get your money's worth in each session. I am very pleased.
Darcy gets it! She works with your busy schedule and gets you "worked out". I was super thrilled when I showed up for my third session and she mixed it up with boxing! I really enjoyed working with her, and find her to provide tremendous value as a trainer.
Since I met Matt I am more motivated to do my work outs. Not had only he cares about you when you are at the gym but he takes it outside the box and he cares about how and what are you doing outside the gym to stay on track. He helps you with everything you may be going through that is holding you back to reach your goal. He is a very positive person and makes you what to do more and do better. I have become a better person just by knowing him, I see working out completely different because of Matt.
I broke my tibia and Fibia, as well as dislocated my foot. My hopes to run, jump, or skate seemed to be gone. Chris didn't give up on me and wouldn't let me give up on myself. Now I can run, jump rope, skate, and even pursued my goal of boxing. I couldn't have achieved this without Chris Athans.
I trained with Carlos a few years back, was then and still is the best trainer I ever had. He is consistent, competant, encouraging, and caring. And one of the toughest guys I ever met. He taught me alot about boxing. He laughed on the one time I landed a shot on him, I on the other hand was scared😳. Still remember "eyes, nose, balls, run"

At age 15, I was 5'8'', 185 lbs and diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Because of my desire to stay as healthy as possible, I have been working out on and off for the last 25 years. During my best years, I have worked out 3-4 times a week doing some kind of cardio and weight training. My worst years I would go for months without even stepping a foot in the gym. I have worked out with personal trainers, I've done group classes including kajukenbo, yoga and kick boxing. I've done crossfit, orange theory, soul cycle and flywheel. I even spent several years making my own workout plans by reading books and watching YouTube channels. By the time I got to LB, I had many experiences with personal trainers and fitness coaches. When I first met LB, my posture was horrible, my hips were tight, my back was stiff and I could not properly and safely do squats which really limited my lower body and over all strength. This had to do with many years of sitting for long stretches of time, and when I wasn't doing that, I was hunched over a screen. Unlike with my other personal training experiences, LB assessed my total fitness capacity. He did not just give me a regurgitated workout plan every week, but he personalized it to include my goals plus what he thought I needed. He also explains everything he is doing and why he is specifically targeting certain areas of your body. The biggest benefit I have found is that with LB, I am much more aware of my body. The more we have worked out, the more I have been able to focus on engaging my muscles in a mindful and purposeful way. My posture has improved greatly. I am now mostly always aware of standing tall and strong. My squats have definitely gotten better. The biggest surprise with that is that I don't absolutely hate doing squats anymore. I kind of look forward to them to see what I can do. I've learned all kinds of stretches to help myself out during the day so that I keep myself as supple as possible, and our new goal is a pull up! That's the best part of working out with LB, he makes sure you are always heading towards specific and clear goals so you can track your progress. I would and have recommended LB to anyone who is serious about caring for their bodies, being strong, being flexible and being an all around bad ass. It doesn't hurt either that LB is a super nice guy. I have not suffered any injuries over the years, but If I did, I know LB, through his experience and education, would be able to help me function and the best level that I could. If you want to get strong, healthy, flexible and solid, LB's your man.
I have ben with Andres for roughly two years now doing personal training. His training has challenged me in all areas and has produced amazing results for me and my body. Training has ranged from boxing to Olympic lifting to regular plyometric and drills. He has always pushed me to do more and because of that I am finally satisfied with my body image and physical capabilities. I wouldn't ask for another trainer - he poses both professionalism and knowledge. I highly recommend him to anyone.
