Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I keep my lessons small and one on one to provide the best instruction that I can. I really want my students to outgrow me and love to see them grow in their careers. I love those little breakthroughs. We work so hard to learn to ride and I love to see my riders succeed.

My lack of experience is horrible, I have a paid voucher and have been trying to schedule a lesson since May 17th. It's now June 2nd. You won't even answer my text messages or my emails. This is no way to run a so called business. I spoke with someone at this number when I purchased my voucher and you really talked a good line. This is the only good thing that I have to say about you..........
Pinellas Horse's reply
After a death in my immediate family and camps starting up, I have been delayed on responding to some emails and texts. I am SWAMPED. But I try to respond to everyone who emails me. So, I searched my email for a Caroline to find your numerous missed emails and low and behold, nothing came up. I searched my email for Living Social and no unanswered emails came up. I am not taking new students right now but I do honor my living social vouchers and try to book them as soon as they email me. Like I said, I have responded to everyone who said they had a living social voucher. Thanks for the great review. Have a lovely day.

Alisha started me out almost 8 years ago. She was a great, responsible instructor who doesn't just have you "ride the horse." She helps you learn about horsemanship and how to correctly handle a horse. Also, she will take you to the shows when you are ready. By far one of the best children's instructors around

Had a great time learned a lot about horses. Will be back next year with the family. Going to put the kids in her summer camp.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

As I mentioned in my profile, my love affair with horses started young. I have always been a teacher and shared my experienced and horses with those who did not. I always remember what it was like to want a horse so bad you could just taste it and not have one. I decided to do it professionally in 2001 and got certified through CHA.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do your research about who you are hiring! There is no regulation or required licensing to be a "Riding Instructor" and a lot of "instructors" are not qualified to teach. Please be careful, ask for references, watch a few lessons before putting your child or yourself on a 1200 animal that may or may not be suited for the job.
