Introduction: My design work is clean and uncluttered because that is what I believe customers respond to. Each page should have only a few focal points. Too much information, too many bells and whistles are what drive people to leave a site. A good website should not be a showcase for a web designer, it should capture the customers attention with a specific message within 4 seconds. Period. I enjoy the whole process: Educating the customer/client as to what is possible, guiding them along the way, keeping the project on course, steering it in the right direction, and helping the client get to the finish line. Since I have experience in online business, the "business coaching" comes with the web packages.

I can't speak highly enough about Regina Edmonds and her work. I am a writer and she created a website for me to promote my second novel. She offered a price that required me to work with her, but I would have wanted to, anyway, because I was particular about the pictures I wanted for the mock-up cover of the book (not yet published). Yes, she made the cover, and it looks great. She advised me on what was needed to get search engine optimization for attracting people to the site. And people are visiting it every day, with many registering to read the free first chapter (she also recommended that). I work at odd hours, and we communicated weekends, including a holiday weekend, and well into the evening. When I had problems working with Wordpress, she readily came to my rescue. She worked as fast as I could supply her with the information for the site. I am very happy that Thumbtack forwarded her name to me. I chose her because of the insights on Web designing and the most productive ways to use a website that she revealed in the essay on her own website. Again, I give her the very top rating.

For complete websites, I have several economical packages described on my website. For updates, tweaks, additions, corrections, or smaller jobs, I charge $25.00 per hour.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do continual continuing education. In the field of web design and web development there is no summer vacation. Every week I read blogs, take courses online, read books, youtube videos by other web designers.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out making websites as soon as I went online, in about 1999. I build my first website on webtv! Does anyone even remember that? It has fascinated me ever since. There have been so many changes, but it only gets more fascinating.
