FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Here's what you need to know: • Your budget determines what's possible. My recommendations are based on many factors, beginning with your budget. • After I understand what you want to accomplish, I can usually provide a not-to-exceed price in case . • A basic single-page design can be as little as $495, while a custom site can exceed $5,000. There are many factors. I have worked on year-long projects. • Rule of thumb: the more work you do, the less work I have to do, which keeps the price down. I run unadvertised specials, so be sure to ask.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The more assets that you have, the easier it is for me. If you have good images, your logo, brand colors, URLs of sites you like, layout ideas, pages you want, and content for those pages, it translates into lower cost and faster turnaround. If you don't have images, I can get images. Some are free, others (usually nicer) must be purchased (extra cost). I do not write content, but can edit and polish content you provide (extra cost). If you have no content, I can create content (extra cost).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters degree, over 25 years of business experience and over 7 years of web development experience.
