I decided to open Utah Bookkeepers after many years of owning my own businesses. In these businesses I handled many aspects, but my main area of expertise was handling the finances. - What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice to someone looking for a bookkeeper is to get to know their experience. Don't just hire someone who has done "secretarial" work. A knowledgeable bookkeeper will know the tax implications and understand how important it is to have an accurate bookkeeping file.
