Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I have the experience of having been in practice since 1973. I have been a prosecutor, a Public Defender, and in private practice for 27 years. I have tried Murder cases, drug cases, cases involving theft, violence, sex cases, conspiracies, and many others. I have tried Juvenile cases, Domestic Violence charges and Injunctions. Some of my clients have been guilty, some have been innocent; and some have just been in a bad situation. I understand. I get to question Authority. My job is to protect my clients from their own government. I get to challenge the power of the government, and try to make the Government stay within the bounds of the law and the Constitution. I get to meet many individuals who are in a bad situation. Sometimes I can make their situation better, even if I can't cure all of their problems. I get to give some comfort to people who are worried about the trouble their loved one is in.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I try to stay on the cutting edge of the law. As a consequence, I try to attend every relevant criminal law seminar available.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Experience Counts. The more trial experience a lawyer has, the more likely it is that he will have dealt with a similar problem before. Price shopping is usually a mistake. It's ok to tell a lawyer about limited funds, but it should not be the only basis for making a decision. It can be a critical decision, and may have an effect for the rest of an individual's life. Many times, you get exactly what you pay for.
