To anyone, or any organization/business looking to inject fun into an event, I highly recommend Gimme The Mic entertainment. This Karaoke DJ service makes the gathered, even when they do not know each other, feel like family. Mark Spain, the DJ, has a vast library of songs to choose from. Mark knows how to encourage the shiest attendees up to the mic, but also respects those who have just come to listen and appreciate. Are the performers all professional quality? That depends, of course, on the gathering. But Mark encourages all-out enjoyment. I absolutely recommend Gimme The Mic Entertainment. -Jeannette (a frequent attendee, but very infrequent performer!)

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
We are professionals who use professional equipment. You can rent speakers from us but not the actual karaoke system. The system must be operated by GimmeTheMic personnel.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I've entertained with music since high school. I played guitar in a band; DJ'd to help put myself through college; Hosted a jazz program at my college radio station; Spent the last several years helping to operate GimmeTheMic.
