Introduction: Miller Management & Consulting Services, Inc. (MMCS) is a business made up of me and my almost 40 years of hands-on,working experiences! I have operated my Consulting business since 1993, or over 23 years! It is not a big Company, but I have handled very large projects. MMCS is a small business and I really love working with small business owners. I have enjoyed the great times, and the good times, as well as those painful, slowest of times! I know what it takes to make the best the great times and how to manage through the slow times. Start-up Businesses can be fun, but not everyone with a good idea, say like someone who loves to cook for big groups, is equipped to open a catering business, or to open a cafe, without actual experience! That is where a skilled, experienced consultant can make the difference between success, and gut wrenching failure.
Believe me, you need someone to be honest with you at the very beginning, because so much can be at stake. You need someone to ask you the difficult questions, to find flaws in your idea, with deep experience who can see those things "You Don't Know that You Don't Know!" You too will need someone to ask questions of, to bounce things off , and to be there to help you through the rough spots and to point you in the right direction. Having that Professional or Mentor relationship from the start can be invaluable! If not Miller Management then make sure you get someone to help, someone that has walked the same path. I love what I do because every day, every client, every project is different! I also admire people, like I did, that have decided to try and follow a dream of running their own business. Small Business has been, and will always be, the backbone of America, and one of the most often mentioned reasons of why people want to immigrate to our great Nation.
I also enjoy helping others create a legacy, something that they can pass down to their children, or grow to profitability and then sell to another person who wants the same freedoms and has the same dreams.
Additionally and truly one of the best benefits of being a small business is that I enjoy meeting new people, getting to know them and families, and making many lifelong friends!
