Introduction: For over 30 years, I have been a commercial artist. I worked in advertising, publishing and the music industry. My education and work experience have afforded me to develop a variety of graphic design and illustration skills using computers and traditional techniques. I've designed projects from original concept to completion on a variety of Mac and Windows based programs using applications like Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, Quark Xpress and others. I also produced print ads, direct mail promotions, media kits, books, newsletters, forms, editorial and technical art, websites, and CD and DVD packaging. I am a published illustrator of both technical and editorial art. I've taught commercial art/graphic/digital design skills in high school and at several conferences, teaching web design, commercial art, digital design and video production skills to high school students. Over my 30 years in the field, I've created logos, redesigned and maintained websites, produced the annual full color yearbooks, stationery and forms. Having worked in advertising, marketing, publishing, education, video production and web design, I bring to the job a knowledge base that can only be gained through experience.
