My name is Javier I own and install tile at Asj Installations. I’m a CTEF Certified Tile Installer with 15 years in the tile world, and I’m experienced with Schluter Systems for long-lasting, watertight installations.
My team of three and I install ceramic, porcelain, and marble tile for:

Provided a quote of $643 to install a shower door I would provide. I sent him a pic of what I was going to order. He said the shower door would work so I ordered it through Lowe’s. He asked for my personal information and the following day he sends me a higher estimate with an additional fee now after he knew I ordered the shower door. The pictures of the estimate speak for themselves. Watch out this is a dishonest person that I absolutely would not trust.

We’re sorry you feel this way, but we do want to clarify the situation. The original quote of $643 was for shower door installation only, based on the scope discussed at that time.
The additional cost you’re referring to was for a separate repair inside the tub area, which was not included in the original estimate. That service requires additional labor and materials and was never represented as being included at no cost.
Once that additional work was brought up, we provided an updated estimate reflecting the expanded scope so everything would be done properly.
We always aim to be transparent with our pricing and scope before any work begins. We respect your decision not to move forward, but we stand by our estimate based on the work requested.
