FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Catering private parties, cooking for special events, stocking my client's refrigerator, prepping food that my clients can easily cook throughout the week, assisting clients with cooking when they want to do the cooking themselves, providing cooking classes for groups or individuals, planning menus, grocery shopping, teaching clients how to make the most of their food budget, setting up buffets, creating special dinner parties, cleaning the kitchen after each event, on call by phone or email to answer any cooking questions my clients may have.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check references! Many people claim they can provide the services you need, but references are the key to finding out if the person is truly qualified to provide the services you require. Plan well in advance if possible, to be sure you can schedule a chef/caterer for your event. Have some idea of what type of food you would like your chef to prepare. A good chef can cook numerous dishes and many cuisines, so to ask for menu ideas, with no benchmark to start with, is asking your chef to provide an innumerable list of selections - many that may no appeal to you.
