FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
What lead me into the public speaking lane of my business was that I used to be a stand up comedian and making a fool of myself in front of large crowds is very comfortable to me. I met my mentor after a show one night and after a few months I was convinced that my energy would be out to better use improving people’s lives for the long term not just 20 to 30 minutes of laughter at a time. I mention this because during “pregame” as the special day nears I will take some time to help you feel comfortable being in front of your friends and family and help make your day as smooth as possible.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had a dream about starting my own church so I got ordained. But, after speaking for hours with my mentor he explained that he left his ministry because he was not reaching enough people and that’s when I got involved and started doing Leadership Coaching and Motivational Speaking. Since I was already ordained i figures I may as well use it as another service I offer.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Times are changing rapidly and people are getting away from the traditional wedding service. Due to being uncomfortable in front of a crowd or just being nervous because if all that is going on I have learned short and sweet is a win win. Depending on the couple’s needs I can do a nice traditional service or get em up and get em to the party kind of service.
