I am absolutely LIVID with Randi. SHE FAILED TO SHOW UP ON MY WEDDING DAY!!!!! She called me to confirm the day before and we agreed to meet at 12:30. When 1pm rolled around and there was no sign of her I called her. I thought maybe she was coming at 1pm because I had suggested that time and she she said 12:30 would be best. My entire bridal party, aunt, and fiancé kept calling her and her phone went straight to voicemail. My MOH's mother is friend's with Randi's mother, so we had Randi's own mother call her and she was unable to reach her.
Randi's no-show put a serious damper on my wedding day. I had not brought my own makeup and didn't even have any with me since I don't wear it on a normal basis. Luckily, I was able to catch my sister on the way to our venue and she stopped at my house and brought me my own makeup. My aunt and I had to apply my makeup. Our whole day's timeline was completely thrown off because we were planning to do first look photos and family formal portrait's before the ceremony. Randi's no-show inconvenienced a LOT or people. I think my groom was more upset than I was and it was horrible to see him so angry on our wedding day, a day that is supposed to be the happiest of our lives.
Our photos really suffered because of the schedule redo. We lost a lot of natural light and it was difficult to keep track of all the family members we needed during the reception. We kept having to chase everyone down for photos. It wasted a lot of time and we lost a lot our reception experience because of it.
DO NOT HIRE RANDI BUCHANAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She has not even contacted me to apologize and it's been 5 days since the wedding. Another vendor of mine told me she has heard about her no-shows on several occasions. And it's a shame, because when she does the work, it's gorgeous. My trial run with her was fantastic and I loved my makeup....but that doesn't mean anything if she can't actually show up to do the makeup on someone's wedding day.

Randi was contracted to do my bridal makeup and my bridesmaid's makeup. She did not show up or even call on the day of my wedding after we had paid for a trial run and half the amount due. I booked her based on her good reviews and supposedly good reputation but she caused a lot of unwanted stress on my wedding day. I wish another bride had written a review to warn me because this isn't the first time she has done something like this.

It breaks my heart that I let a bride down, and it did happen. Unfortunately, I was very ill and in the hospital on an emergency basis several times over the summer and was unable to fulfill my obligation in any capacity during that time. I am happy to report that my health issues are fully resolved, and that I am moving forward.
