Hello Traci. We are sorry for the miscommunication. As previously discussed, Phil was simply reiterating our terms and agreements before the grooming. Being as he is a rescue and the state of his condition (matted), first time under your care being groomed and you stating that you honestly do not know how he would react, we must advise all possibilities. We strive to put the dogs health and well being first and foremost, so we like to tell our clients that will do our best but will not push dogs past their stress threshold. We try to work with babies like this and even do a little grooming, then come back another day to break up the groom to insure they have a positive experience. Mid conversation, you had taken the dog and walked away. Phil took the impolite dismissal as you not wanting to be serviced anymore. Thank you so much for your review as it helps clients understand our policies. The only thing we do not appreciate is the dishonesty in parts of your review. At 75 feet away, there is no way Phil would be able to have a conversation with you, let alone comb and assess the dog to let you know he was matted. We are so glad that Maverick was able to be groomed.
