Circuit Breaker Panel or Fuse Box Repair

The guys did a great job changing my electrical panel. They also did many other assorted smaller jobs. They cleaned up after nicely. I will have them come back for other jobs.

Nick and his team converted the original 1962 breaker box and updated wiring and outlets during my renovation project. They were courteous, friendly, professional and detailed. Even made a couple extra trips required to complete the job and assisted with some of the electrical complexities of old wiring and bad choices of previous owners! I will continue to use them for all things electrical and highly recommend them.

    Switch and Outlet Installation

Nick and his team did an amazing job at a reasonable price. I needed an outlet installed in my bathroom to accommodate a jacuzzi style tub and they came within an hour, did a quick and efficient job at a reasonable price. The installers were pleasant and courteous. Will definitely use again if needed in the future. Thanks guys.

Carlos and Ishmael did a fantastic job. They moved the position of two chandeliers and installed a junction box where the previous homeowner left an open splice. A bit of miscommunication via email but was quickly resolved and cost was reasonable. The electricians were personable, took extreme care of our belongings, and cleaned up all of the debris and insulation that drifted down from the attic. Highly recommend CJS Electric!

It was great, when they were running behind for the appt they reached out and updated me and the pricing is what they quoted me on the phone. They also fixed a problem that 2 other technicians could not fix. I would use them again.

I was more than impressed with the prompt response, fair pricing, and professionalism of CJS. I am a single mother and am always skeptical and cautious of using a company I haven't done business with before. They went above and beyond to explain everything and their pricing was very reasonable. They arrived on time, left the areas spotless, and were accommodating, patient and professional. I highly recommend this company.

Q&A

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, 14 hours of CEU's required by the state. We keep up with the most up to date technology of lights including LED and fluorescent lights.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.
Some projects may require troubleshooting or a site visit in order to give a firm estimate for the repairs.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
In high school I knew I wasn't college bound so I chose the Electrical class. I get enjoyment out of helping others solve their electrical problems.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with several types of customers, such as: Homeowners, business owners, property management companies, home warranty companies, contractors, and more. We have experience troubleshooting power outages, replacing outdated panels, upgrading electrical services, home inspection repairs, 4 point inspection repairs, adding recessed lighting, Lighting Retro fits, Residential and commercial service work, and more!!!
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Restored power to an apartment complex building with 8 families just before thanksgiving.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure they are licensed and insured. Feel comfortable with the person you are talking to, and don't hire based on Price alone... your lowest received bid will usually come with the least quality, reliability and integrity. We pride ourselves in providing reasonable quotes without sacrificing quality, reliability, and integrity.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
We are very passionate about satisfying all of our customers. With that said, we are aware that alot of homeowners do not actually know what type of repair is needed, they just know that they are having an electrical problem that they want fixed....If that is the case, please provide as much information as you can, so that we can provide you an accurate estimate for repair. Please keep in mind that electrical repairs may require some troubleshooting before an electrician can give you an accurate cost of the repair. In most cases, our electricians are able to diagnose the problem within the first hour on site, and provide an estimate before moving forward with the repair.
