Thumbtack charges vendors like me each time someone contacts us, including when someone ASK FOR OUR AVAILABILITY. Some contacts cost vendors $20 to $100 dollars. Recently, far too many customers are just contacting people, INCLUDING WHEN SOMEONE ASK FOR A VENDOR'S AVAILABILITY and never responding to replies, making those vendors get charged by Thumbtack. Hello. My name is Kapplan and I am a filmmaker, videographer and photographer. I have been doing video production and photography for over seven years now. I am a graduate from the University of Tampa with a Bachelor in Film and Media.
I have shot and worked on from over a dozen of short films to tv shows to sporting events to graduations. The most favorite thing out of all of this is to be able to tell a story and hopefully I can tell yours too!

Kapplan was absolutely incredible. He responded to my inquiry within the same day, offered creative options that matched my setting concepts, and was punctual to our session. I was surprising my best friend with a photo shoot and he was very supportive as well! We had a blast. Kapplan was kind, he knew incredibly professional and understood how the natural light best supported us. He provided helpful poses and was down to let my BFF and be a little more goofy as this is our personality style. And THEN...the turnover for our finished photos was quick and they were absolutely stunning. I couldn’t be happier with his work and the lifetime memories we were able to capture. He was the most reasonably priced as well so if you’ve read this far...DO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK with Kapplan! 🙂

Kapplan did an amazing job while shooting my wedding! He was very easy to talk to and communicate with. He was efficient when it came to getting shots that were requested. He didn’t take the photos below, as my family was just as eager for pictures, but you can see him hard at work in everyone of the photos! All around I really enjoyed working with him!

He did an AMAZING job. I helped my sisters (now fiancé) find a photographer for a proposal. We’re from Texas so it was a bit difficult. He was SO responsive, helpful, and created a beautiful video as well as photos. His effort - amazing. Flexibility- amazing. He helped narrow down the specifics of where the fiancé and my sister should be. IMO, the turnaround time for the video and photos was fantastic. They did not have to wait very long. We are so glad we found him, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer/videographer.
