Extremely Disappointed: Poor Communication, No-Show, and Unusable Photos
I flew in from California to prepare my Florida property for a scheduled photo shoot, only for the photographer to not show up at the agreed time. When I finally got in touch with him, he explained he doesn’t usually come out twice and prefers to do all photos at once — which would’ve been fine if that had been communicated ahead of time. Instead, I was left scrambling to get the property ready for a scheduled appointment that didn’t happen.
Even worse, I reached out to the company for clarity — no response. Not that day, not the next, not even a week later. To this day, no one has followed up. The only thing I eventually received was a surprise email with the photos — which, unfortunately, were incredibly disappointing.
While I will give credit for the fast turnaround time (hence the one star), the quality was shockingly poor. The lighting is terrible, photos are blurry when zoomed in, and it’s clear that no attention was given to showcasing the space at its best. I hired a professional photographer to highlight the beauty and design of my home — instead, I got photos that make it look flat and lifeless. One bathroom shot was literally just a toilet and a blank wall, completely ignoring the custom marble backsplash, lush towels, and curated details I spent time and money on.
There were so many missed opportunities and such a lack of care. I don’t have the luxury to fly back out and do this all over again. This was my only window, and now I’m stuck using photos that don’t reflect the work I’ve put into this space.
The biggest frustration? Not the photos — but the complete lack of respect for communication and the client’s time. If you value professionalism, responsiveness, or even just basic courtesy, I would not recommend this service.
