Introduction: Looking to learn a new skill? Are clothes not fitting right? Unimpressed with your closet? I can help you! Based in beautiful South Tampa, FL, I can teach you how to alter your clothes or fix them for you. I love helping others learn a new skill or troubleshoot an issue that they are having. Sometimes you just need a second set of eyes! I have a BFA in Costume Design and 15 years of professional experience. I enjoy designing costumes for stage that are larger than life! Together, we can design costumes for themed parties, or bring a special vision to life. Does your closet need an update? I can help you find your style and search for the perfect garments that will give the right impression! Is your child curious about how to create with fabric? Teaching younger students is a lot of fun! Each lesson we will make something that your child will enjoy! Serger or sewing machine giving you issues? Working with these machines can be difficult, but I can help you troubleshoot any issues and teach you how to avoid other pitfalls! I would love to hear from you! Liz was great! I had a bunch of clothes that were sitting in the closet needing buttons sewn back on. She was super speedy getting them back to me and now I can finally wear those clothes again. I would definitely hire her again!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Free Fittings and Delivery within 10 miles of South Tampa! I charge $35 per hour for stitching work. As each project is different, the cost of each project will vary. Example: Pants hem- 20 min- $12
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Want to learn how to sew? We will talk about your goals, projects, and the machine you're working with! I can help you troubleshoot a particular issue or advise on which machine to purchase! Needing alterations? We will discuss what will make you feel amazing in your clothes! We go through your wardrobe and try on each garment you need adjusting. I'll take notes, photos, and pin you in to show you what to expect.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BFA in Costume Design and Technology! I have 15 years of professional experience altering garments for clients and businesses!
