FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    1. Good wedding photographers and good wedding venues often book up a year in advance, so don't wait until the last minute to start shopping for both. If your wedding will be on a Sunday or on a Friday night, those are usually available days. 2. Look at samples and ask around. Friends and family who have gotten married are an excellent source for recommendations. Also, take a look at their albums, if you like what you see, it's time to interview the prospective photographer. 3. Look online. Most photographers post samples of their best work and most detail the different packages that are available. 4. Lots of times your florist or cake maker can make a recommendation. 5. Are they professional? It often takes a face-to-face meeting to know. Also know that a professional photographer won't become the focal point of your event. 6. Ask what kind of equipment he/she uses and whether or not back-up equipment is available just in case there is a malfunction. 7. Agree on a start and finish time for your photographer. Photographers usually charge an additional hourly fee once the agreed upon time has expired. 8. Know the terms of the contract before signing.
