FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Customers should be aware that my photography pricing typically includes a base package covering essential services like hours of coverage and digital image delivery. Additional services such as engagement sessions or custom albums may have separate fees. Travel fees apply for events outside my local area, and overtime charges may occur if the event exceeds the agreed-upon coverage hours. Discounts may be available for off-season or weekday event, as well as referrals from previous clients. I offer flexibility for package customization to match individual preferences and budgets. It's important to review the payment schedule, which includes an initial deposit and final payment details, as well as the cancellation policy outlined in the contract, to ensure transparency in our pricing structure.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process for working with a new customer in my photography business begins with an initial consultation where we discuss their vision and requirements. We review my portfolio to ensure it aligns with their style and customize a photography package tailored to their needs. Once we're both satisfied, we sign a clear contract outlining all terms, and we collaborate closely before the event to plan the schedule and shot list. On the event day, I arrive early to capture every special moment, from getting ready to the reception. Afterward, I meticulously edit the photos and deliver the final images either digitally or in print within the agreed timeline. I always seek feedback to ensure their satisfaction and continually improve my services.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a photographer, I have received formal training in photography techniques, composition, and post-processing. Additionally, I continually update my skills and knowledge through workshops and courses focused on photography trends and technology. This ongoing education ensures that I can provide high-quality and up-to-date services to my clients.
