Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Honesty, Integrity, and complete work. The word tuneup is tossed around loosely in this business and we find we are tuning up after other tech companies have "tuned up" the machines. Tuneups apparently don't include virus removal in most cases, and the virus removal has become another menu item with high cost. If all of the software and windows updates are not added, then the machine is not done. We do to your machine what we do for our own machines. We hate to see a good machine go to waste and we also hate to see our clients frustrated. The work we perform is high quality with guaranteed results. We've never deemed a machine un-fixable. Whatever it takes to bring a machine back to it's original performance level is our utmost important goal. As the owner of ccComputing, I am also a power user of computers, and I am always current when it comes to using them and configuring them. I work mostly with the retired community in this area of Florida, and I mostly enjoy the conversations we have during the repair process. I get to know all of my clients on a very personal level. This is an important social aspect for someone like myself that's mostly tucked away behind a desk programming, developing, repairing systems etc. I have always found "computer guys" to be cranky and very ah...."know it all" types, and this I do not condone. There is no excuse for this, for I know there was a time in computers when I was completely lost and clueless. It took a lot of suffering to get where I am now in computing. Also, we live in paradise, and the people I work with are retired and mostly happy to be here too! I feel my clients are my friends as much as they are my clients. I want to see my clients more often, but with quality work done right, I generally don't see folks for a long time for repeat service calls.

I was unable to "send" a reply to incoming email. The reply never left the "inbox". Chad took the time to determine the problem, and in about 15-20 minutes on the phone he talked me through the steps to fix the problem. Beyond that, he spent another ten minutes regarding my concerns with purchasing a new computer in the near future. His patient demeanor, competitive price, and an overall pleasant experience will keep me loyal.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Total System revitalizations. This is our "tuneup" which takes an old machine and brings it back to it's out of the box performance. Far too many clients feel when an older machine is performing very poorly, that it's time to purchase a new one. We evaluate their use, such as "I only use it for email, check the weather, and look at youtube." Based on the initial look at the software installed, the antivirus software being used etc, we decide what's best for the client, and in most cases our complete system overhaul tuneup product is purchased, based on the evaluation of any given machine. - When a call is made based on system / hardware failure and the costs become good money after bad, we build custom computers to suit the clients needs. - We also consult with clients and help them purchase manufactured machines, then aid them in the process of moving their account and data from the old machine to the new machine. - LCD screen replacements - LCD Inverter board replacements - Mac power plug issues - Mac LCD replacements

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask questions, if provider feels the need to withhold some "Secret" to the business, look for another provider who provides unfetterated information about the repair. Total honesty should be easy for the provider, and a good estimate based on time for the particular issue should not have to be pryed from the provider. On that same note, the provider has to make a living too! Expect great service, and always be willing to pay for great service !
