- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'll come to your location and have a discussion about the specifics of your project. We'll take measurements and then offer a quotation with optional suggestions. Depending on the complexity of your project, you may receive the quote on the spot or within 24 hours. Once the quote is accepted, a deposit is collected and start date is decided upon. Final payment is typically due upon completion of the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Apprenticeship in my youth and hands-on experience over the past 30 years.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I worked as an apprentice as a young teenager, and learned things from basic home construction to cabinet building and finish carpentry. Eventually I helped in the custom reconstruction of some of San Antonio's oldest storefronts.
