I went from failing, being behind, and not submitting work every day my freshmen year, to all A’s, being ahead, and submitting 3 assignments daily (I only need to submit one assignment per class weekly to be on track but my tutor helps me turn in extra) my junior year, all because I started working with Tutors & Co. How did you get started doing this type of work?
Our CEO, Silvia, worked for several local tutoring companies while attending Rollins College, where she found her passion for helping students and their families along their academic journeys. She realized a need for personalized, result-oriented, and empathetic tutors and made it her mission to make this a reality!
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Last year, we started helping a student transitioning from in-person school to FLVS (Florida Virtual School). She struggled with attendance, executive functioning skills, and discipline. She was failing nearly every class. Together, we figured out the right tutor, study method, and schedule for her. Today, she is thriving both academically and personally!
