FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are a high-end remodeling firm with extensive experience. We price fairly and accordingly, but our prices are higher than those of smaller handyman-style operations. As full-fledged General Contractors, we manage projects from start to finish, handling all permitting, inspections, designs, material procurement, installation management, and turn-down services. We offer 10% discounts to all military members, seniors, first responders, and education professionals.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial consultations/pricing: Complimentary on-site walkthrough with high-level line-item estimating. Face-to-Face proposal review. Contracting stage: A 10% deposit is required to initiate the project, pencil in a start date, begin covering scheduling, designs, renderings, and final estimating/bidding. 3d Preliminary designs or architectural drawings (if applicable). From designs and permitting, we move on to the installation phase: Where QR’s owner or project managers are your only & direct point of contact. We work hand in hand with the client & installation teams to facilitate a smooth, timely remodel of all trades, rough-ins, and finishes. Scheduling inspections throughout the process. Final turnover: We conduct our blue tape walk-throughs with our teams prior to final turnover. Ideally, handing over a complete, turnkey/move-in-ready project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the trades for over 15 years, 10 of those years working on high-end homes, $700k-$10m. I have a license in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Florida, and partnerships/sponsors (while obtaining my formal license). Additionally, I serve on the village board of advisors for renovations and hold certifications in custom tile installations, waterproofing, and water restoration. Have extensive experience in whole-home renovation and remodeling—load-bearing wall removal, doors, trim, bathrooms, kitchens, additions, etc.
