Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Your Invited Live is a high quality service that allows you to host a private event and inviting others that you select to watch online. This is a service for any occasion. We provide a private personalized service for any event you have in mind. Have you ever had a function where your family & friends have not been able to come, or a business conference where your employees or partners cannot make? Now you can share that event with everyone, no matter where the event is, or where they live! FAQ 1. How does it work? We will create and design your personal private webpage, upload the videos and photographs that are included in your package. If required your webpage will be available to watch a minimum of 10 days after receipt of your final instructions and payment. The channel will then be available for the period requested. The live webcast will be provisioned from one month prior to your event to allow you to test, and will be closed the day after your event. The webpage is entirely private and can only be seen by those you give your password to. The webpage is entirely Ad Free, but does have the option of a Twitter and Blog feed if you so wish to use it. 2. What do I need? Our website and Broadcast Platform provides you with all the necessary tools to be able to stream your video content. What is needed is a high-speed DSL/Broadband Internet connection, a video camera with a fire wire connection to a computer or laptop. Upon the confirmation of your order, we would send you the link to your webpage together with a password. With these instructions you will be able to connect your live webcast to our servers. If you have purchased Package 3, we will also give you access codes to your control panel so that you can upload video clips before & after your event as well as the archive of the event itself. Please note that good internet is the key. We suggest you try a speed test on location to make sure it is adaquate for doing the live webcast. We recomment having a miniumum of a 1mb upload connection on location for best quality. Your total video output should not exceed 80% of what upload you have available. Anywhere between 400kbps to 700kbps audio/video output is normally fine. 3. How will my guests view my event using your service? Your webcast will be entirely Private. We will give you a private password to allow only those users who you wish to view your webpage. 4. What if I am having an outdoor event? We have webcast events before using a wireless broadband service provider's air card and a laptop with a fire wire connection to the camera or live feed from a multi-camera setup. Although a hard-wired connection is preferable and recommended, an outdoor webcast can be successful, providing that the wireless broadband connection is strong. Please keep in mind that the length of your webcast is subject to the battery life of your laptop and camera. 5. Who do we contact if we have questions or need assistance? If you need help or have further questions, an email and telephone number will be provided. A telephone help desk will also be available at the time of the event if you have difficulties with your Live stream. 6. Will I be able to view my webcast at a later date? If so, for how long? Our packages allows you to watch any of your on-demand video from the time the Channel is opened. Visitors may view your event as many times as they like during the time the channel is 'On air'. 7. How many people will be able to watch my webcast? The number of people who visit your Webcast page can run into the hundreds, even thousands. 8. Can someone from your company be present to make sure the connections are working, and if yes how much would that cost? Yes. One of our consultants can be present to make sure all the connections are working, and additionally, webcast the event for you. While there at the event, the consultant would establish the connection to the server, make sure the audio and video feed from the cameras are coming in to the computer, and actually do the task of streaming the content for you, which allows you to concentrate more on catering to your guests. For details of cost, please click here. 9. Is it possible to do some editing after the live webcast? The webcast service does not include video filming and editing services, however, we do have video production department who can offer this service for an additional fee. 10. What happens if the webcast "doesn't happen" for whatever reason? Our service is based on reserving, setting up and opening your webpage to allow for live and on-demand streaming, along with setting up your webpage. Since the fee charged is a service setup fee for a one-time event, the following would apply in this case. Once we setup, and create the webpage, the service is then considered delivered. However if we determine that service was not delivered due to technical difficulties from our end, or for any reason that is due to our negligence, we will issue a full refund. Generally, we are not responsible for cancellations, rescheduling or the failure to utilize the webcast service. In some unique cases, we will allow one time to reschedule the event as long as the request is submitted at least 15 business days prior to the initially scheduled date. If you cancel your account within 15 days prior to the event date, we will refund 50% of the service fee. 11. How do I get started? Click here to be directed to our service request form. Choose your type of event from the dropdown menu, fill-in all the blanks and click the send button to be taken to the order confirmation page. There you will have the option to place a $50 deposit or finalize your order by paying the full amount with your credit card.
